{"id":7139,"date":"2023-10-16T09:18:38","date_gmt":"2023-10-16T02:18:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laocso.org\/?post_type=funding&#038;p=7139"},"modified":"2023-10-16T09:19:46","modified_gmt":"2023-10-16T02:19:46","slug":"childs-dream-foundation-grant-program-myanmar-laos-cambodia-and-thailand","status":"publish","type":"funding","link":"https:\/\/laocso.org\/lo\/funding\/childs-dream-foundation-grant-program-myanmar-laos-cambodia-and-thailand\/","title":{"rendered":"Child\u2019s Dream Foundation Grant Program (Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Child\u2019s Dream Foundation is seeking applications for its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/latest-funds-for-ngos\/\">grant<\/a>\u00a0program to ensure that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/children\/\">children<\/a>\u00a0and young adults in the Mekong Sub-Region, affected by inequality, grow up to be healthy and have access to quality\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/education\/\">education<\/a>\u00a0and better\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/employment-labor\/\">employment<\/a>\u00a0opportunities.<br \/>\n<strong>Vision &amp; Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0ea7\u0eb4\u0ec4\u0eaa\u0e97\u0eb1\u0e94\n<ul>\n<li>Educated and empowered people responsibly shaping and sustaining fair, just and healthy societies for generation to come.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u0e9e\u0eb2\u0ea5\u0eb0\u0e81\u0eb4\u0e94\n<ul>\n<li>They design, implement, and partner to support education and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/health\/\">health<\/a>\u00a0interventions for children and young adults.<\/li>\n<li>Everything they do enables them to live empowered and self-determined lives as equal and active members of society, with the potential to became responsible leaders of change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Grant Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They address current and future needs in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/burmamyanmar\">Myanmar<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/laos\">Laos<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/cambodia\">Cambodia<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/thailand\">Thailand<\/a>\u00a0related to the following eight strategic goals:\n<ul>\n<li>Building Schools &amp; Other Educational Infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Improving Access to Basic Education<\/li>\n<li>Improving Quality of Education<\/li>\n<li>Providing Skills\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/events\/\">Training<\/a>\u00a0to Enhance Employability<\/li>\n<li>Supporting\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/youth-adolescents\/\">Youth<\/a>\u00a0Development and Empowerment<\/li>\n<li>Developing Future Leaders, Specialists and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/business-industry\/\">Entrepreneurs<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Supporting Basic and Essential Health Care<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Targeted Emergency\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/humanitarian-relief\/\">Relief<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The proposal:\n<ul>\n<li>supports people in Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand (geographical).<\/li>\n<li>supports children, youth or young adults still in education or communities facing emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>supports health, education or emergency relief.<\/li>\n<li>does NOT exclude beneficiaries due to their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/religion\/\">religion<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/women-gender\/\">gender<\/a>, sexuality, health or ethnicity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you plan to submit a grant proposal, please read our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/childsdream.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Proposal_Guideline_0423_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposal guidelines<\/a>\u00a0first to make sure that your proposal is eligible and contains the necessary information. The proposal guidelines also outline how and to whom the proposal should be submitted.Proposals can be submitted to Child\u2019s Dream throughout the year.
