{"id":8055,"date":"2025-01-14T13:50:24","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T06:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laocso.org\/?post_type=job&#038;p=8055"},"modified":"2025-01-14T13:50:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T06:50:24","slug":"project-assistant","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/laocso.org\/lo\/job\/project-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Position\u00a0 : <strong>Project Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Contract Period:<\/strong> 1 year (with possibility of extension)<br \/>\n<strong>\u0eaa\u0eb0\u0e96\u0eb2\u0e99\u0e97\u0eb5\u0ec8:<\/strong> ADWLE Head Office<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Project Manager in developing training materials and facilitating training on women&#8217;s development work.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research, collect information, and assist in budget planning to support new project proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with partners at central, provincial, district, and local levels to organize meetings and training.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare activity and budget plans and manage procurement related to project work.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Project Manager in creating annual and quarterly project development plans and overseeing legal assistance programs.<\/li>\n<li>Draft activity reports and assist in reviewing quarterly reports from ADWLE\u2019s legal team.<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings, training, seminars, and other events relevant to ADWLE\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, senior lawyer, and lawyers across ADWLE\u2019s three legal aid clinics.<\/li>\n<li>Design IEC materials (leaflets, posters, banners) for training and events.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties assigned by the Law Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Political Sciences, Social Work, or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years of experience in social development.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure, detail-oriented, punctual, and quick to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills for liaising with government agencies, communities, and organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken English and Lao.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submit your complete application, including a CV and cover letter, in PDF format.
