About the Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Association for Community Development (ACD-Laos)<\/strong> is implementing the \u201cImproved Food Security for Women and Children\u201d project in Salavan Province, Laos<\/strong> with support from Bread for the World. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of women and children in remote areas by improving nutrition, hygiene, and income generation<\/strong> through community-based interventions.<\/p>\n

We are seeking a qualified consultant or evaluation team<\/strong> to conduct the final evaluation of this project, assessing its impact, effectiveness, and sustainability.<\/p>\n

Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

The evaluator will:
\u2705 Review project documents, reports, and monitoring data.
\u2705 Conduct field visits<\/strong> and interviews with key stakeholders, including community members, government partners, and project staff.
\u2705 Assess project effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability based on DAC evaluation criteria.
\u2705 Analyze findings and provide recommendations for future programming.
\u2705 Present preliminary findings to ACD and government partners.
\u2705 Submit a comprehensive evaluation report<\/strong> in English and Lao.<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2714\ufe0f Extensive experience in project evaluation in Laos<\/strong> (preferably in nutrition, food security, or community development).
\u2714\ufe0f Strong knowledge of evaluation methodologies<\/strong> and impact assessment tools.
\u2714\ufe0f Familiarity with nutrition, education, health, and gender programs<\/strong>.
\u2714\ufe0f Experience working with ethnic communities and an understanding of cultural contexts.
\u2714\ufe0f Ability to develop and apply data collection tools<\/strong> (e.g., surveys, focus groups).
\u2714\ufe0f Excellent analytical and report-writing skills in English and Lao<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
