We work in partnership with local communities, government bodies, and international partners to empower people and protect our natural resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Officer on Sustainable Agriculture (POSA) to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for working closely with directors, partners, project teams, and donors to ensure the successful planning, implementation, and monitoring of SAEDA\u2019s sustainable agriculture and development projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with SAEDA directors, program officers, and project coordinators<\/li>\n<li>Provide direct capacity building and support to project teams<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit quarterly and annual project reports<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and coach project activities, including financial oversight<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with local and national government bodies<\/li>\n<li>Represent SAEDA in workshops and events at national and regional levels<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of project guidelines, strategies, and policy frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with donor agencies and partner organizations<\/li>\n<li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by directors<\/li>\n<li><strong>Education Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s Degree in Agriculture, Social Development, Environmental Studies, or a related field<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years&#8217; relevant experience in project and program management<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating development projects<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in writing project proposals and reports in both Lao and English<\/li>\n<li>Experience in organizing events, training, and stakeholder workshops<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and community development<\/li>\n<li>Strong coordination skills with governments, CSOs, and NGOs<\/li>\n<li>Competency in IT (including websites, publications, and digital tools)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in both written and spoken Lao and English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Attitudes and Values<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Sensitivity to inclusion and diversity (ethnicity, gender, disability, HIV status, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and proactive in professional development<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments<\/li>\n<li>Patience and persistence in stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<li>High standards of professionalism and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Lao citizenship is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should send the following documents to <strong>infor.saedalaos@gmail.com<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>1.
