Position Title: Consultant for Animal Diseases Protection Training

About Gender Development Association (GDA):
GDA has been empowering communities across Lao PDR since 1991 by fostering gender equity, ending discrimination, and sharing knowledge to promote sustainable development.

About the Project:
The initiative focuses on creating climate-resilient agricultural model families to enhance food security and promote gender equality. This project includes training on “Animal Diseases Protection” to equip villagers with knowledge and skills to improve agricultural productivity, livelihoods, and income.

Scope of Work:
The consultant will:

• Develop and deliver training modules tailored to animal disease protection.
• Provide hands-on coaching for sustainable agricultural practices.
• Create training tools and materials suitable for primary and secondary school-educated audiences.
• Submit reports detailing training outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.

Deliverables:

1. Training materials and handouts.
2. Narrative report after training sessions.
3. Final summary report, including lessons learned and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Master’s degree in agriculture, rural development, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to deliver effective training on sustainable agricultural practices.
