Small Grants for Civil Society and Community Engagement in Global Fund Processes in Asia Pacific

Funding Description

Request for Proposals: Small Grants for Civil Society and Community Engagement in Global Fund Processes in Asia Pacific

Overview: The Asia Pacific Regional Learning Hub (APRLH) by Seven Alliance invites initiatives, groups, or organizations of communities and civil society living with, affected by, or vulnerable to HIV, TB, and Malaria in the Asia Pacific region to apply for small grants. These grants aim to enhance the meaningful engagement of civil society and communities in Global Fund and related national processes.

About the Initiative: Operating under the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund), the Regional Learning Hubs work to strengthen community engagement by:

  • Amplifying information, updates, and best practices.
  • Brokering diverse learning platforms.
  • Assisting communities in accessing technical assistance.

The Learning Hubs contribute to two key CE SI outcomes:

  1. Communities access timely and relevant Global Fund-related information.
  2. Communities drive program quality based on the adoption of global guidance and sharing of best practices.

These grants are designed to create a catalytic effect at the country level, providing rapid support for communities and civil society to strengthen their engagement in national-level Global Fund processes and HIV, TB, and Malaria national responses.

Eligible Activities for Funding
The following activities are examples of initiatives that may be supported, but applicants are encouraged to propose their own ideas:
