Lao CSO Coordination Committee responds to Lao CSOs nationwide accordingly to the Resolution Letter No. 02/DPAD, dated 29 March 2019, outline the roles of LCCC as follows:

1. Act under Lao laws and regulations by Lao government and following the national socio-development plan;
2. Be the coordinating point and information hub of Lao CSOs;
3. Create opportunity and build capacity of Lao CSOs to contribute to the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and sustainable development goals;
4. Create plan and projects implemented by the committee with regular coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Public Administration Development) and related offices;
5. Raise funds from domestic and international sources to enable the committee activities along with supporting Lao CSOs based on equality, transparency and legality;
6. Raise funds from domestic and international sources to enable the committee activities along with supporting Lao CSOs based on equality, transparency, legality and regulations under the government;
7. Report committee activities and performance periodically to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Public Administration Development) and related offices.
