ໃນວັນທີ 7 ກັນຍາ 2026 ນີ້, ຄະນະກຳມະການປະສານງານອົງການຈັດຕັ້ງສັງຄົມລາວ (LCCC) ຮ່ວມກັບ ສະມາຄົມພັດທະນາບົດບາດຍິງ-ຊາຍ (GDA) ໄດ້ຈັດ "ກອງປະຊຸມສ້າງຄວາມເຂັ້ມແຂງແກ່ອົງການຈັດຕັ້ງສັງຄົມລາວ ໃນການວາງແຜນ ແລະ ກຳນົດຫົວຂໍ້ບູລິມະສິດ ພາຍໃຕ້ກົນໄກການທົບທວນສະຖານະການສິດທິມະນຸດຕາມວາລະ UPR ແລະ ສົນທິສັນຍາວ່າດ້ວຍການລົບລ້າງທຸກຮູບແບບການຈຳແນກຕໍ່ແມ່ຍິງ CEDAW" ຂຶ້ນຢ່າງເປັນທາງການ ຢູ່ທີ່ ໂຮງແຮມ ລາວພລາຊາ, ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ.
ກອງປະຊຸມຄັ້ງນີ້ ເປັນເວທີທີ່ເປີດໂອກາດໃຫ້ທຸກພາກສ່ວນ — ທັງອົງການຈັດຕັ້ງສັງຄົມ, ອົງການສາກົນ ແລະ ພາກສ່ວນລັດ — ໄດ້ມາແລກປ່ຽນບົດຮຽນ, ພ້ອມທັງຮ່ວມກັນວາງແຜນ ແລະ ກຳນົດຫົວຂໍ້ບູລິມະສິດ ພາຍໃຕ້ກົນໄກ UPR ແລະ ສົນທິສັນຍາ CEDAW

On September 7, 2026, the Lao CSO Coordination Committee (LCCC), together with the Gender Development Association (GDA), officially organized the "Capacity-Building Workshop Strengthening Lao Civil Society organizations (CSOs) Orientation and joint Priority Issues Workshop under International Mechanisms (UPR & CEDAW)" at the Lao Plaza Hotel, Vientiane Capital.
This workshop serves as a platform bringing together key stakeholders—including civil society organizations (CSOs), international organizations (INGO), and government agencies—to exchange lessons learned, as well as to jointly plan and identify priority topics under the UPR and CEDAW mechanisms.
The main objectives of the workshop are to: Enhance knowledge and understanding of international treaty reporting mechanisms under UPR and CEDAW.
Jointly define priority topics and map out a data collection plan to produce valuable parallel reports.
Exchange lessons learned and strengthen collaborative networks among Lao CSOs, international development partners, and the government sector.
