Annual Meeting of the Sector Working Group on Forestry, Agriculture and Rural Development (CSWG-FARD) Technical Group 

The Annual Meeting of the Sector Working Group on Forestry, Agriculture and Rural Development (CSWG-FARD) Technical Group was held on August 8, 2024, at the New Rose Hotel in Vientiane. Mr. Thongdam Phongphichit, a member of the Lao Civil Society Coordinating Committee, chaired the meeting in his capacity as head of the Technical Group for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development. The event was attended by 22 participants, including 10 women, representing various organizations, associations, and foundations from both the capital and other provinces working in related fields.
The purpose of this meeting was to:
- Report on the group's achievements in implementing activities for the year 2024
- Collectively review and improve the group's roles
- Jointly determine implementation plans and future activities of the group
