The Lao CSO Coordination Committee (LCCC), under the leadership of Dr. Chansy Phimphachanh, recently convened a pivotal reflection meeting with development partners and key stakeholders to evaluate the outcomes of the CSO Fair 2024, held in Vientiane Capital.

This critical gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements and challenges of the fair while laying the groundwork for future initiatives.

  • Assessment of Successes and Challenges: Reviewing the outcomes of the CSO Fair 2024 to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Planning the Next CSO Fair: Preparations have begun for the next event, scheduled for early 2025, with Luang Prabang and Khammuan set to host.
  • Civil Society ASEAN Forum Discussions: Focused dialogues on Gender and Climate Change took center stage as part of the preparation for the forum, slated for Q2 2025.
