On November 10, 2023, a discussion meeting was convened between representatives of the Lao Civil Society Organization (CSO) Coordination Committee (LCCC) and the Department of Public Administration Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The meeting was held in the conference room of the Crowne Plaza Vientiane and was officiated by Mr. Soulivanh Ontavong, Director of the Department of Public Administration Development, and Dr. Chansy Phimphachan, Chairperson of the LCCC. In attendance were delegates from the LCCC, donors from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), technical staff from the Department, and invited guests.
The purpose was for the LCCC to report on previous activities and discuss future strategic plans.
Funded by Citizen Engagement for Good Governance, Accountability, and the Rule of Law in Lao PDR (CEGGA) – Phase II.
CEGGA is funded by Switzerland, Germany and the European Union, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with the Ministries of Home Affairs and Justice, the National Assembly, and the Lao CSO Coordination Committe
