Do you need funding for a project aimed at promoting development in Lao PDR ?

The British Embassy Vientiane has opened applications for funding for proposals between £10,000 K ($12,000) – £25,000 K ($ 30,000) per project.

To be eligible, your proposal must be in line with the British Embassy Vientiane’s country objectives in Lao PDR in the following areas:

Promoting education and English language training

Supporting poverty reduction and good governance including gender equality, ethnic minorities, LGBT+ rights and disability inclusion

Promoting a safe and enabling environment for business in Lao PDR including improving the legal landscape

Environment, sustainability and health, especially by way of projects where funding at this level can be used for pilots that then have the scope to be rolled out at scale.
