Cord is an international Non-Governmental Organisation (iNGO) with administrative headquarters in the United Kingdom and an operational staff team in Laos.  Cord has 50 years of experience in humanitarian and development work with communities worldwide affected by conflicts. Required background:

  • Student or recently graduated student in Finance, Administration, Management, Education, Logistic, or relevant field
  • Knowledge and previous experience related to training and/ or event organization and coordination would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and previous experience related to Administration, Finance and Logistic support would be an advantage.


Key Duties:

The Finance, Administration and Logistic Intern will work within the Cord CEGGA project team.

The Intern will provide support to the team in finance, administration and logistic in line with the project’s implementation.

She/he will support the implementation of the activities, including for the communication with participants, preparing budget estimates/clearance of advance, ensuring proper collection and administrative filling of documents, etc. In addition, he/ she will also help with the coordination and logistical arrangements related to the events (training, coaching, etc.) carried out by the team members. The Finance, Administration and Logistic Intern will also maintain good relationship and information sharing mostly internal (within the team) and occasionally with external stakeholders. She/he will also perform other tasks as required and/ or assigned by the line management.

  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to communicate in Lao both verbally and in writing. English skill would be an advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Proactive, well organized and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently as a team player as well as independently
  • Quick learner, flexible, and well organized
  • Committed to learning and self-development
