Finance will be responsible for end-to-end accounts management, budget and reporting for smooth operations. It serves as a point of contact/process owner on behalf of Finance Department to ensure smooth accounts transactions as per the Financial & Accounts Policy/ Framework as well as including preparation of financial documents and reports, in line with VLED’s and donor procedures and policies as well as general good business, value for money and transparency practices and financial support to all program of VLED and Communities partners.

Key Role and Typical Responsibilities:

  • Being key person to coordinate and deal with external stakeholders including Partners, Government Bodies/departments and Consultancy firms on financial method.
  • Review of the financial report in Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Report and other report as required and ensure that all financial reports are submitted on time as well as being a key person to take action on feedback from Donor/funder.
  • Closely working with finance and grant team regularly to delivery completed account reports and other required reports as well as to ensure all the payments are reviewed without error.
  • Support and coordinate with grant team in terms of training on financial management systems to VLED itself and Communities and strengthen/develop their policies and procedures in this regard for ensuring proper budgetary control, accounting, fund and assets management
  • Being Key person to maintain and monitor the Accounting System (QB) via reporting
  • Support Program team and Office in the preparation, consolidation and analysis of Budgets and expenditures in accordance with laid own procedures
  • Coordinate with external audits and ensure that providing enough evidence and justification smoothly
  • Managing underline staffs, ensure all the contracts are up to date and ensure the appraisal performance are also met the deadline
  • To represent of Director to deal with donor and partners in term of finance issues or meeting/workshop when he/she is not available

Dealing with Problems: 

  • Highly require to have independently creative thinking and decision when dealing within organization Partners and Communities by representing VLED according to VLED policy and procedure ie, internal control procedure and reporting
  • Play as important role in finance consultation to the team to ensure of smooth coordination internally and externally and able to deal with complex issue

Qualification & Experience:

  • University Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • 01+ years’ experience or demonstrated equivalent combination


  • Knowledge on Accounting software or similar system
  • Knowledge and good understanding on VLED finance/accounting system
  • Knowledge in auditing requirements


  • Good computer skills (including Word and Excel) essential
  • Good written and spoken English is essential
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills essential
