LCCC Meeting Highlights Progress and Collaboration for CSO Fair 2023

On the morning of February 1, 2024, Dr. Chansy Phimphachan, LCCC Chairperson, along with the Secretariat of LCCC, met with representatives of funders from GIZ, the European Union, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the government partners of the Ministry of Home Affairs at the meeting room of the Village Leader for Disaster Association, Thakhek District, Khammouan Province.

This meeting was held to report the progress in preparing for the CSO fair for the year 2023 in the central-south region, which is scheduled to be held in ThaKhek District, Khammouan Province at the beginning of March 2024. Additionally, there was a discussion on some outstanding topics to enhance cooperation for joint implementation in the future.

CEGGA is funded by Switzerland, Germany and the European Union, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with the Ministries of Home Affairs and Justice, the National Assembly, and the Lao CSO Coordination Committe
