On September 13, 2023, the Secretariat of the Lao CSO Coordination Committee collaborated with the Educational Technical Group of Lao Civil Society Organizations to hold a meeting at the Grand Hotel Vientiane. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Chansy Phimphachan, the Chairperson of the LCCC, and Dr. Phoxay Chanthavongsa, who heads the Educational Technical Group. Attendees included representatives from relevant ministries and departments, the central government, non-governmental organizations, Lao CSO organizations, and technical staff from various CSOs.

The purpose of this meeting was to review the challenges faced, needs identified, and projects previously implemented by the group members. The goal was to collaboratively plan future educational initiatives and to mobilize and raise funds to support participation in projects initiated by development partners in the field of education. These efforts are in alignment with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Education and Sports.
