1. About Zero Waste Laos

Zero Waste Laos (ZWL) is a youth-led environmental organization that promotes sustainable waste management, climate action, and gender equality in Laos. The organization was founded in 2019 by Souksaveuy Keotiamchanh, an environmental advocate and national consultant for plastic waste management.

ZWL focuses on raising awareness, educating communities, and driving policy changes to reduce waste and promote sustainable living.

2. Mission & Goals

Reduce Waste: Promote waste reduction, especially plastic waste, through awareness campaigns and community engagement.

Climate Action: Advocate for sustainable environmental policies to combat climate change.

Youth Engagement: Empower young people in Laos to take leadership roles in environmental protection.

SDGs Implementation: Support Laos in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to environmental sustainability.
