The 2nd Annual Implementation Management Committee Meeting of the CISAC Project was recently held at Don Chan Palace in Vientiane, Lao PDR on April 27, 2023. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including the CiSAC Management Committee, CSO partners, public sector partners, and the European Union.
During the meeting, a report was presented highlighting the previous year's successful execution of a range of activities, the project's current financial situation, the outcomes achieved, the challenges faced, and the areas for improvement. In addition, an exciting announcement was made about the Lao Civil Society Organizations Website, which will later support the work of CSOs, including their efforts to prevent and mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
The event was followed by an intensive discussion among the stakeholders who shared their valuable insights and feedback on how to better implement project activities. Attendees also suggested areas to focus on with the remaining budget before the project concludes. All these are to ensure that the community reaps maximum benefits from the project activities. All stakeholders expressed unwavering commitment to continue supporting the project's objectives.
